Summer Adventure Series: Learn to Dive, Dive for Life Advanced Open Water Cert

Ever wondered what it would be like to just sit at the bottom of a shallow reef and watch the fish swim by or waves crash above you. Wonder what it would be like to see that U-Boat, Cruiseliner, or Battleship which sunk of the coast of the US/Europe/Africa/South America...or just want to checkout the underwater world while visiting the carribbean. SCUBA diving is your ticket into these worlds.

PADI, the Professional Association of Dive Instructors...Where the World Learns to Dive. Offers classes ranging from Discover Scuba Diving through Professional Diving. Courses offer classroom, pool work, and open water diving to bring everyone to a comfortability level to dive on their own.

In this event, we will be offering the advanced open water certification for a recreational diver. This certification introduces three specialties and refines your underwater navigation and deep diving skills. The course is conducted over 2 days with 3 hour sessions in the open water. Classroom work consists of 5 short knowledge reviews, which are done prior to the diving and handed in on the day of class.

The class will cover peak performance buoyancy, search and recovery, underwater naturalist training*, in addition to the required underwater navigation and deep diving skills. The 5 introduction dives will start you on a path to seek further certification in each of the those areas and/or fulfill the prerequisit for Rescue Diver Class. (Note - PADI Professional divers must take the Advanced Open Water).
