About Expedition NYC: The Singles Experience

As we progress into 2008, I am going to be breaking events into themes. For example:

  • Foodies - I don't know about you, but I LOVE to eat! That's why I work out so much smile
  • Fitness - Things such as cycling (my big one!), swimming, rock climbing, etc..
  • Recreation - Rafting, Skiing, Softball, Shooting pool, etc..
  • The Arts - Museum tours, art galleries, plays, and more..
  • Forgotten NY - Explore the NY you didn't know existed.
  • Boot Camp - I'm ex military, and will be teaming up with other fitness folks to do some military style workout sessions. Most likely, in Central Park, as weather permits.
  • Happy Hours - Yes.. it's hard to get away from them, but in moderation, they're a great social opportunity

I also, fully advocate joint events with other groups. Meetup should be a tool to use to MEET other people, thru a wide variety of outlets and events. I've met and continue to meet, other organizers, and I'll be seeking those who wish to work together, to hold joint events, and give everyone the most opportunities to have some great experiences.

An important thing to know, is that this is OUR group, and I want everyone to have fair input into ideas and suggestions for events and activities. If someone has something they'd like to get people involved in, by all means, please let me know. I'm more than happy to post it and bring out more people.

My contact availability is always active thru this site, so please do not hesitate to bring any suggestions, or concerns, to my attention.

Here's to new experiences and new friends in 2008!
