GoAndKnow, is a 'mixer' group mostly comprised of late 20's - 40's singles with desire to meet in a setting somewhere in between a bar scene and a face-to-face 1:1 date. Provide a venue quiet enough people can actually chat without yelling to compete with loud music playing is key.

As cool as technology is, it's no substitute for meeting someone in person. That brings us to our next thought. There is something to be said about having safety in numbers.

Safety can be defined a couple of ways here. The obvious in there are many to help just a few feet away should you need it. The other thing to think about is if indeed you find there is little interest in the one you are with at the moment, move to someone else - mingle. Perhaps a connection can be made with another. Like a saftey net for your time investment with someone you just don't or can't connect with once you meet in person.
