It's time to make some new friends. While this is a group for singles, it's not necessarily about meeting the "love of your life" although some people have started dating. It's about making new friends, going places you might not go alone and finding out, that after 40, you can still make new friends.

We are so lucky that the people who have joined welcome the "newbies" with open arms. If you read some of the comments, you'll see that people are always saying that they felt welcome RIGHT AWAY! You'll never walk in and feel like an outsider. If one of the organizers doesn't walk up to you right away, many of the members were. We all remember what it's like to walk in and not know a soul! So we want you to feel welcome right away.


New Members >> please kindly upload a photo to your profile if you can; this helps the Organizers/Regulars to look out for you at events so we can welcome you, plus it also helps those that attended events to remember meeting you (think about it - if you go to an event that was attended by about 20 persons on average will you remember everyone's name after just one introduction; wouldn't you like to be able to come to this website after the event and say 'oh, I remember meeting him/her' from looking at their profile?
