DESCRIPTION:Active Boomer Singles\n\nLarry would like to do an outing to th
 e El Malpais in July \n2009. The tentative dates are 8-12 July. \n\nWe woul
 d be car camping on the Continental Divide Trail in the Chain of Craters re
 gion. \nIt's about 120 miles from ABQ with the last 20 on dirt\, gravel\, a
 nd lava roads. \nHigh clearance vehicles or 4x4 required\, NO CARS. \n\nThe
 re are no restrooms or water at the site. Bring everything you need to surv
 ive.\nMy plan there is to do some minor work on the CDT and lots of hiking.
  \nIt will be very warm during the day and nights should be cool. \nCampers
  are welcome to arrive and depart at their convenience\, one day\, one nigh
