SEQUELS: Singles Book Discussion Group (Age: 30 to 50)

SEQUELS is the new monthly book discussion group for Long Island singles between 30 and 50 years old. We meet one Sunday each month to discuss a popular, new, or controversial book. Meetings take place in a comfortable atmosphere with light refreshments served by the host. Membership is restricted to Adults age 30 to 50 who are single, widowed, separated or divorced and live on Long Island. Members should read the book and be prepared to comment, criticize, praise or critique aspects of the writing. Although SEQUELS is NOT a dating service of any kind, meetings are intended to be a pressure-free way to meet other intelligent singles in the Long Island area.

We will discuss The Book of Air and Shadows by Michael Gruber, a fascinating adventure mystery in which the protagonist is in search for a lodt Shakespearian Manuscript. There will be great food, lively discussion, and a demonstration of one of the complex Ciphers used in the book. We will plan group activities for the future, add to our list of possible book titles, and enjoy refreshments! Read more
