"HELP ME RHONDA! HELP, HELP ME RHONDA!" THE BEACH BOYS ARE COMING TO DANBURY!!!!!

Gather your blow up beach ball (yes, I know you OWN at least one!), slick your hair back, slop on the suntan lotion, find that Hawaiian shirt and join us at the Ives Center on Thursday night, July 3, for a wicked fun time catching THE BEACH BOYS IN CONCERT!!!!

The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. but we're gonna get there early (5:30 pm) to scope out a great spot and enjoy some mingling time sharing "dinner on the green." Don't forget to bring your folding lawn chair and feel free to bring some food to nosh on, but know bottles and alcoholic beverages are not permitted in. GOOD NEWS??? Weeeell, you may purchase beer and wine at the concession stands, which will also have food available to all!

You can prepurchase your tickets at the Ticketmaster site noted below or purchase them when you arrive at the event. HOWEVER, please know that if you buy them the day of the event, they will only accept CASH at the gate and you need to do so at least two hours prior to the start of the show. Ticket prices for lawn seats are just $19.95 and the meetup fee is just $1 to help cover website fee costs. Directions to the Ives Center are also included in the following link:

NOTE: This event is rain or shine and we'll be there either way, so keep that in mind when purchasing your tickets in advance if you are a WILD ONE that may melt in questionable weather (Of course, I'm thinking?FUN! Rain ponchos, tarps, spit balls, water guns and a touch of ocean ambience as we belt out "Surfin' USA!" Ya ha ha!!!)

This is sure to be one of the most awesome concert events of the coming season! I hope many of you take advantage of this opportunity and join us for some WILD fun! :)

Hi Everyone! Just a small note to let you know where we'll be located. We will be set up by the left of the stage (facing) so look for the beach balls, boogie boards and "Wild Ones" wearing flower shirts and leis. Please try to get there around 5:30 which will give us time to eat and mingle before the concert starts. Don't forget your lawn chairs!

If you see a woman wandering around in a straw cowboy hat looking lost, get her - it will be me. It is my first event, so I don't know anyone, but I am looking forward to meeting all of you.

The memories poured back like it was 1966! What a Great show!
    •  Unbelievably fun! And John Stamos..."ooh la la"...my heart is still skipping a few beats. ;)

I got up and surfed down the grassy knoll.
    •  AWFUL, WHAT A PAIN, SORRY!!! What a pain!!! My back hurts from jumping. My legs hurt from dancing. My hands hurt from clapping. My sides hurt from laughing. Awful!! Awful nice if Jose to bring the tarp and find us the best spot in the house. Awful nice of Linda Q to volunteer at the event. Sorry!! Sorry that it rained just enough to keep the big crowds away and give us an unobstructed view of the Beach Boys because many, many people stayed home. DISCLAIMER: That was not me in the convertible driving on the wrong side of the road on the way out while everyone was stuck in traffic. It was my twin brother. That was not me following the bus with the Beach Boys lead by the cop with his lights flashing either. Nor was it me making that illegal left turn on to Mill Plain Rd either. They say that everyone has a twin somewhere with a blond in the passenger seat. I'm going to force myself to go to the 4 Season Concert and have the same Awful, Painful, Sorry time again.....
