Welcome to Southwest Suburbs Sports, Outdoors, & Social Meetup (SWBurbsSOS) We will be focusing on 3 areas: Sports will include: 1) Setup Teams for Park District Leagues. 2) Road Races: 5K, etc. 3) Golf Outings. 4) Etc. Outdoors will include: 1) Hiking. 2) Camping. 3) Canoeing. 4) Cycling. 5) Etc. Socials will include: 1) Dining. 2) Festivals. 3) Picnics. 4) Comedy Clubs. 5) Concerts. 6) Game Nights. 7) Etc. We have no membership dues. So why not join us and see what the SW Suburbs have to offer. Why not join our team? We are looking for members to join Organizational Teams. Basically, you will join a team with 2 to 4 other people and your goal is to setup a couple of meetups a month. Also, we are looking for Team Captains. You check the Park Districts for Leagues, post a Meetup looking for team members, then we you have enough player, you will sign up the team. (Money can be collected online with Paypal.) I was wondering if there is interest for setting up a team for sand volleyball Wednesdays, in Tinley Park.
As soon as we have 6 women and 6 men, I will register the team (Hopefully, registration will still be open). Then, I'll setup a paypal link to pay (or Email you my address to pay by check). Cost will be about $25 per person.
