DESCRIPTION:
This is the tough part! How to describe this award winning sculpture installed on the 3 rivers of downtown Providence? is nearly impossible! It's so alive! So beautiful! So full of emotion!
Providence has to be one of my favorite cities! There's so much going on at once! Like a street festival that combines several locations within walking distance?.. the city becomes alive! Lots of walking.. lots to see! Lots to do! www.waterfire.org

*The Sovereign Ballroom: 7pm kicks off the night for FREE dancing under the stars
*The Verizon Jazz Stage: Free live entertainment
* Excellent restaurants along the river & across from WaterPlace Park

*Gondolas carrying passengers up and down the river
* The list is endless!

********NOTE: Due to the nature of this event, it is not for anyone who would feel they needed to stay with a group. It is so widespread.. so much going on! There really is no way to remain as a group. It works better to break off into smaller groups. Some of us can meetup for drinks/dinner? Some for just drinks? Some who may be interested in dancing? Some walking? or Gazing on the river? Wear comfy sandals/shoes, dress casual or dress up depending on where you choose to go. I have been here many times. Each time is a different experience.. always FANTASTIC!
