We've got us a dynamite riding group here! Plenty of diversity to continue to attract a wide range of new members. Thank you all for being the charter members of Singles Motorcycle Riders!

Sunday, June 1 - our maiden Meet & Greet 'n RIDE!. Route has been determined and we'll start in Milpitas. Then into the hills with a lunch stop along the way.

Post in your 'yes' response if you have a seat available for a passenger or if you want to be a passenger.

News Flash... SMR just got MY mentor, Lorraine, to lead the newbie group! She's an excellent rider and a fantastic teacher. If you're a newbie be sure to take this opportunity to ride with Lorraine. You're in good hands.

If you prefer fast and faster we're in luck with an excellent, experienced lead and sweep for the Meet & Greet Ride. There are also two mid range groups so we have a place for you. Everyone rides within their comfort level.

Let me know if you have lead or sweep experience and are willing to volunteer with SMR. As mentioned, we're a diverse group of Singles Riders. Come join the fun!

We can have a mini ride prior to the big one! So we aren't late for the 9:15 arrival, we will depart the Walgreen's parking lot at 8:55 a.m. From there it is a straight shot down 237. Man, I'm excited about this meetup! If anyone needs more complete directions to the Walgreen's parking lot, just let me know.

Hi, Michael. According to Google, its about 11 miles/18 minutes to get to the Starbucks on Milpitas, so let's plan to meet at 8:45 in the Walgreens parking lot corner of 237/Grand and El Camino Real. David from Sunnyvale, I'm going to assume you plan to meet as well. See ya at 8:45.

Hallo Cathi, I come from Middlefield Road in Mountain View and can stop on the location El Camino and 237/Grand. It shouldn`t take more than an hour to the meeting point

Note to Pilots & Pillions: It's not a date - it's the pleasure of the ride. There is no obligation other than to return her to where you found her. A rider on the back seat does not inhibit your ability to flirt... nor hers. It's common for pillions to switch bikes during the rides. There are no expectations or hurt feelings in sharing the wind.

Great idea and route for a short, local, ride 'n eat, Calamari! (I'm suddenly craving seafood :) That's exactly what I'd like SMR to become... a place for people to post their own rides and get togethers. Please feel welcome to pick a day/evening/any time that suits you and post it now on the calendar, Vic. I'd love to see our calendar fill up with plenty of opportunities for SMR peeps to get out and ride!
