Get ready for Cruisin' with SPOT!!

This cruise leaves Ft Lauderdale at 4pm. Boarding begins at 12:30 and you need to be on the ship no later than 2:30 pm. We'll need to get there, so we can plan to fly or drive but we've got plenty of time to work that out.

Saturday 4/11/09 - Ft Lauderdale, Fl arrives 8am

The cost of this trip is per person, based on double occupancy. It will be $699 per person (with taxes and fees it is 801.94 pp), again based on double occupancy. If you have a 3rd & 4th person in your cabin, the cost with fees is 569.94 pp. So, let's say that you are traveling with one child. You could get your own cabin and each pay 801.94 or maybe you could share with another single parent and child and then you would be 801.94 for yourself and 569.94 for your child. Make sense?

Oh, I have only reserved ocean view rooms. I can't imagine being in an interior cabin for a week!

The first payment of $100 per person is due by May 29. So, if you're bringing one child, the deposit is $200. You'll be able to pay this directly to Carnival. I will provide you with the booking number so you can reserve your cabin and make payment. There will be another payment due by September 29 of $150 per person and then the final payment is due by January 20. You can feel free to make payments more often so you won't have to pay too much next January. I know that's what I'll do!

We'll need to pay gratuities of $60 per person, so please remember this in your budget.

Travel insurance is available for 109.00 for adults and 59.00 for children 16 and under. It can be used in the case of a medical emergency but a cold isn't going to apply.

I also confirmed that passports are not required.

If you would like to bring your kids, they are welcome, but they are not required for this trip. If you are interested in a roommate, you can note that in your RSVP so that we can try to match you up with someone. Feel free to also invite friends or family members on this trip.
