It’s not a test or a race, just call it a friendly competition with a ton of laughs! We’re staging this year’s scavenger hunt in Port Credit during the height of the South Side Shuffle Blues and Jazz Festival. Saturday afternoon from 3pm to 7pm the streets are closed to traffic and the bands take over, creating the biggest block party in the city and the downtown core of Port Credit is jammed with fans enjoying the free live music and literally dancing in the streets. Our scavenger hunt not only gives great opportunity to meet up with other singles but is a fabulous way to take in one of the area’s most popular entertainment festivals! Here’s how our day works. We’ll meet inside the Brogue Inn, set into groups of 4 where we present you with your list of items to gather and photos to take as you explore the streets of Port Credit. Play it safe or take the dare for the more challenging items - it’s all in a group decision. The hunt will last for 1.5 hours and end at of it all we’ll tally up the scores, award the prizes and relax over a brew and munchies (your expense). Afterwards, feel free to take in a few of the key performances scheduled on the streets or at one of the 3 stages (admission required at the main stage).
