About The Albuquerque Singles Meetup Group

Welcome to the Albuquerque Singles Meetup Website!

Our Purpose


To provide a means and a social group for single people to come together with others that are in similar situations. We can all learn from each other and great friendships come out of getting to know each other.



Our Group


The group is composed of all ages and all different types of people with varied interests. This keeps the activities different as well, based on who is hosting the different events.
This group belongs to us all and my hope is to keep everyone actively involved through hosting activities to planning the events and generally just keeping current on our events and activities.



Membership


The organizer pays the fee for the group. Membership in the group is free. Event fees are sometimes posted and all costs associated with events are the responsibility of each person. We will have a couple fundraising activities throughout the year to raise money for the group?s fees. Your participation is not mandatory, but some effort is expected. There are many ways you can contribute to the group.



Keeping things Current


While membership is free, an effort is made to keep the membership population current and active. Meetup notifies the moderator when members are inactive for 3 months or more. If this happens, your membership may be removed. You may also be removed if you RSVP YES for events and continually dont show up. The event organizers volunteer thier time to host events for everyone. Please be courteous. If you later decide that you?d like to participate, please just rejoin the group. We would love to have you join in!
