Stratus Phear will be playing classic rock on the patio. We will meetup on the patio at tables with a view of the grassy balloon park and the Sandia mountains. Come join us to dance, socialize, eat from Garuno's free buffet and watch the sunset effect on the Sandia mountains.

I will be getting there early, around 4pm to try to hold some of the patio tables. I would like to have some help getting there early to help hold these tables. The buffet is served from 5pm until 6pm or until food runs out.

In the past the driving range (balloon park green) will be open to hit golf balls, so if this is your thing you can bring your clubs and hit a bucket of balls.

PS I have been buying RED balloons, at my own cost, to mark and to save tables. People are removing these balloons and we have lost some the tables early on and people coming in late have had to bunch up at other tables. I would appreciate leaving the balloons alone and if you have a problem come to me. I would greatly appreciate your respecting my efforts.

    This will be my first Meetup event and a start of getting back into the single scene.

Who attended?

    • “ As always, a most enjoyable time with great people. Enjoyed visiting with people I knew as well as some I was meeting for the 1st time. ”
    • “ I again had a great bike ride down the trail from REI to Garduno's on the Green. It was a balmy 74 degrees, and the return trip felt like a perfectly cooled air conditioning. There were lots of little runny babbits scurrying out of the way after dark with the moon peeking in and out of the clouds. I would encourage people to keep pushing for the city to finish the underpass under Paseo del Norte. Progress is being made, the the concrete ledge is a bit narrow to ride as is. Walking it is no problem at all, but beware of the places where they haven't filled in around the concrete footings for the underpass. ”
    • “ Good music; Lot of fun dancing to classic rock; talked to some fun people; great set-Sandias etc.; however, the patio with tables, chairs, umbrellas and the gazebo in the middle fragments the group. To me this makes it difficult for a newcomer to know who's-who from other Happy Hour people. ”
