Join the Sitzmarker Ski Club on their budget friendly ski trips. Would you like to have a fun group to go skiing with? Wolf Creek Ski Trip (Family Trip)
December 11 through December 13, 2009 (Friday – Sunday) - Bus departs promptly at 5:30pm.
COST: ONLY $260/person with coach transportation. Two nights lodging, Two lift tickets & bus ride. If a lift ticket is not needed (or for non-skiers), price is: $180.00/person or 80 years/plus old. Full payment due. 100% of the mountain is open for skiing and snowboarding. Conditions are powder and packed powder with early season obstacles.

Latest Storm: 3 inches (another storm is expected early next week)

The complimentary cross-country skiing track is groomed and is in excellent condition.
Lifts are open from 8:30 am to 4:00 PM. Beginner Ski and Board classes are available for all ages.
The Raven's Nest, located at the top of the Raven Lift, is now open, serving burgers and snacks! COME ON UP AND ENJOY THE GREAT SKIING AT WOLF CREEK with the Sitzmarkers!

COST: ONLY $445/person with coach transportation. Three nights lodging, Three lift tickets, bus ride and Friday night dinner. If a lift ticket is not needed (or for non-skiers), price is: $320.00/person. Deposit - $100/person due now. Final Payment Due By: January 11, 2010 ***See you on the slopes***

NM Sports and Wellness will require your id and for you to fill out forms. You will need to pay the $5 at the front desk and make sure you get a receipt. Walleyball is volleyball in a racquetball court. The cost is $5 per person with a minimum court fee of $50.
We will reserve only one (1) court from 7:30 to 9:30. We must limit the attendees to 12. Please make changes to your response as early as possible. If you RSVP yes, please make sure you attend as we need an accurate head count to pay for the court. After the response limit is met people wishing to sign up will be placed on a waiting list and it will be first come first served for replacements if anyone changes from "yes" to "no." If you are bringing guests, please make sure to include them when you sign up so we can get an accurate head count. THANKS TO NM SPORTS AND WELLNESS FOR CONTINUING TO WORK WITH US! All levels are welcome but this is not a game for the timid. Rules are simple: 1. Have fun and get a good workout.
2. No one touching or falling into the net.
3. Ceiling is out of bounds.
4. The ball hitting two walls is out.
5. The opponents back wall is out.
6. Physically aggressive behavior will not be tolerated
7. No kicking or throwing of the ball or equipment which may cause injuries to or be threatening or offensive to any participants.
8. No foul, abusive language or gestures towards any participants present.
9. If all else fails, see rule number 1. Setting and playing as a team is encouraged with good sportsmanlike behavior. It's going to be fun and a good workout too!

Join other singles as we bring the joy of the holiday season to others in our community. Here is the plan, if you like to sing, (trained or non-trained) you are invited to come join us at 5:30 pm at the Village Inn restaurant (by the City Bio Park) at 2437 Central Ave. N.W. 87104. We will have dinner and or coffee/hot chocolate and discuss and put together some dates to go caroling in and around downtown and Old Town for the Christmas Holiday. Skipper will print up song books with traditional Christmas carols that will even feature a rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas New Mexico style. We will discuss where to practice, when and where we may go caroling. Bring your ideas and suggestions. This will be a fun get together and and opportunity to meet and greet other singing singles!

This week’s game is where real men play football! At Lambeau Field between the Baltimore Raven (6-5) and Green Bay (7-4). This will be another interesting matchup between two great teams. Come join your friends to support you favorite team. You don’t need to be a football fan to spend time with friends and have something to eat. Game time is 6:30, so get there early for something to eat and a good seat. Dinner will be served a little before 6 and we’ll serve until gone or until halftime. Pat Hughes will be making Chicken & Dumplings for dinner and desert will be Carrot Cake. So don’t miss out on the meal.
Price for dinner is $4. There will also be popcorn available (for a donation) during the game and evening. There is no door fee for non members on Mondays, just the price of the meal. It's time to venture out and start to celebrate the Holiday season. Join other singles as we drop in for fun, entrainment, shopping and strolling in the Nob Hill district east of downtown. The area is ablaze with neon lights and Christmas decor. We will meet at 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the Arby's restaurant (less traffic) at 3326 Central Ave S.E.87106 in Nob Hill (on the corner of Central and Tulane S.E.). Then around 5:15 pm we will start our stroll east along Central Ave. There is plenty of free parking and free shuttle to the general area. Check the attached link for specific details on parking and more. Come out and join in the festive mood that this event creates. Dress warm and wear your holiday colors. I will be on the corner of Central and Tulane S.E. wearing a red fedora hat with light sticks on it, handing out candy canes in the holiday spirit to Meet-Up members. We may decide to stop in to one of the local establishments for a drink, hot coffee go to dinner in or out of the area after 8:00pm. Bring your thoughts on this idea and the majority will decide. OH MY! This week’s game is going to be interesting to watch. It will be tough battle between New England Patriots (7-3) and New Orleans Saints (10-0). Come join your friends to support you favorite team. You don’t need to be a football fan to spend time with friends. Game time is 6:30, so get there early for something to eat and a good seat. Dinner will be served a little before 6 and we’ll serve until gone or until halftime. I’m really confused this week as what we’ll be having. First it was Sloppy Joes, then it was leftovers from Thanksgiving dinners, maybe pizza again and now the cooks are saying its Scalloped Potatoes and Ham, a vegetable, rolls and something for desert. Whatever it is it will be a hot meal and very good. So don’t miss out on the meal.

Fuddruckers has graciously offered us their party room for free. We can seat 40 people! See you there Are you tired to eating turkey and having company?? Let's get together for dinner and a movie. Old Dog with John Travolta for those who would like a comedy and 2012 for the adventure crowd. Both are playing at Century Rio 24. Let's meet at Fuddruckers for hamburgers ( they have more than hamburgers) and then on to the movies. Maybe dessert somewhere after?
