  Um, it's an orange flower? Other then that, I don't know. They're pretty common on the east side of the Sandia mountains, however. I took the picture with my Canon PowerShot SD750. The camera was in Macro mode and the flash was used. So, no special equipment and the picture you see is straight from the camera - no photoshopping.
