Need to get out of the house and unwind after a long week at work?

Come join us at Steve's house for a BBQ, dancing, and live music!

Steve booked the Howlin' Alan Band to play for the afternoon starting at 4 p.m. They play regularly at Jamie's, and will be at the Nugget in Sparks next week, and Cal Expo next month. They are a great band. They play a great mix of rock and blues, with a little this and that thrown in the mix! Very fun!

Steve's got the perfect house for this. He's got a great above ground basement set up like a night club, dance floor and all! He's got a pool table, shuffle board, and slot machine!

For those who opt to take a dip, bring your bathing suit and a towel. Steve's got a great pool! What a great way to spend a warm sunny afternoon!

We'll be doing a pot luck barbecue around 6 p.m., so bring your own meat to barbecue, plus an appetizer, side dish, salad, or dessert to share. It will be BYOB, but I'll probably have some Jello Shots with me to get the party started! Just mention what you'll bring in your comments section so we have a good variety.

There is a $10 cover, to cover the cost of the band and table rentals. Any extra cash collected, over the cost of the band and table rentals, will be raffled off after dinner, so don't be too quick to run off!

RSVP early!

Get ready to have some FUN!

See you there!

Jennifer

Someone also left their glasses in the basement. Give me a call at 833-6111 if you want them back.

I had a very nice time. At first, as I am new to the group, I was a little shy and not at ease, but after a time I was dancing and meeting new people. I developed a small headache caused from smiling and laughing from all the good times I was having. I didn't want it to end. The band was great, the food was awesome and I am excited to get out again with this group. Thank you!

A little change in the weather isn't going to dampen this party. After all, the real party is in the basement where the Howlin' Alan Band will be playing. And, if you get too hot dancing, the pool is still open, and the spa is bubbling! Try your luck at the slot machine or play some pool or shuffleboard. It's going to be a blast. See you here!

OOh! This looks like so much fun in so many ways! I'd *really* like to go but I have other plans that afternoon that I can't get out of. How late will this go on? Could I come late, like after 7 pm?

The party was great. Everyone was dancing to The Howlin' Alan Band. The food was great. Thank you all for bringing such a great variety of food. The swimming didn't get started 'til after midnight, but after the spa, and a good hot steam, the water was really refreshing.
    •  Steve has an incredible home for partying: Great band, dance floor, food, pool, hot tub, games, a real five star event. Thank you Steve and Jennifer
    •  Jello shots & hot tub! What a combo. Thanks Steve for a wonderful party.
    •  Very nice place to have a party. The band was very good.

Great!!!!!!!!! The weather did't dampen any spirits. Howlin Alan was fantastic so was the food.
    •  We had nice weather (no rain), awesome music, great company, good food, and for some reason, a whole lot of random kissing going on! Some people played billiards, some played shuffle board, some danced, some just hung out in the back yard and mingled with each other, and definitely a lot of smiling faces! The band was awesome! They played music that was really fun to dance to, and they sounded just great! They were definitely as good (or better) than you'll find in any local venue. Those who left early missed the second band that came and played. They sounded great, and it looks like they may be playing at our upcoming Luau for us! Yay! Those of you who left after the second band missed the fun in the jacuzzi and the sauna! It was definitely a night Steve won't soon forget. Or should I say, Steve's toes! I can't wait for the next one!
