I felt it would be nice to have this page with some information about the group.

I have explained to quite a few people that the main focus of any meetup group is to get everyone out into different social settings. You can meet at a bar, club, restaurant, sporting event, racetrack or even at someone's house.

This is not a singles or dating site. This is an over 35 friends networking organization. It is just an easy way to meet other men and women for fun, frolic and wonderful memories.

Most of our members range in age from 40 and up. We do have a few that are under 40 though.


Over the course of the last few months, we have done a little bit of everything. Once the warmer months get here, I am sure there will be many other options available to us.

The bottom line is this though.. we try to encourage people to get out, even if it's just for a few hours. I think it's a lot better than staying home and doing nothing.

Personally, I have made a number of new friends through this group and I am very happy that I joined in October.

I also encourage all members (new and old) to use the message board to post their thoughts on any possible future events. If you think you have a good idea, let one of the organizers know and we will be happy to post it as an official event.

By having everyone working together giving their input, it will only make this group more successful.

Also, if you have attended an event, please take the time to rate it. This will give us a better idea on how to plan things.

With that in mind, I welcome all of the new members and hope that you enjoy your experiences here.
