About this Meetup

We have a variety of social events from huge parties (200 to 500 people) to smaller events like tango parties (milongas)

Here's a slide presentation about our Golden Gate Yacht Club Party in San Francisco:

You can watch a video of our annual New Years Eve party below:

We often hold Tango Meetups at Studio Gracia. Here's a video showing how tango can be danced to different kinds of music:

Huge Parties are held monthly in elegant locations like the Golden Gate Yacht Club or the Marriott Hotel These are Dance/Mixers. You will be welcomed by greeters who will orient you to the party. Typically more than 200 singles attend! It's a great place to meet quality singles. Parties feature great DJs or amazing bands like The Floor Shakers, Innersoul, The Groove Thang, or The New Sekret Service.

A mixer game makes it easy to talk to and meet new people. For example, you may get a small card with a conversation question on it. If you talk to 3 people and get their signatures, you can turn in the card for a chance to win a nice price, like dinner for two.

Music featured at these parties are dance hits from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Most people are 25+ or in their 30's, 40's or 50's, but everyone 21 and older is welcome. A no host bar is usually available so you can enjoy your favorite beverage. Free H'orderves are provided at most events. Cover is normally $25, but special gift certificates are sometimes available to let newbies try out the parties.
