Details
Ever wanted to learn Argentine Tango? It's very different from American tango as practiced ballrooms. It's more romantic and exciting and yet flowing and smooth and is danced to authentic Argentine tango music. Once you learn Argentine tango, you can enjoy the many "milongas" (Argentine tango parties) that are held all over the Bay Area!
A great opportunity to learn and enjoy a party is available in San Francisco.
No experience or partner is needed for the beginning lesson at 6:45pm.
Beginning class is taught by Natasha NG. For more info., call Phil
on Ccube; it's a free call. Just visit:
This is not a singles party, per se, but you are likely to meet some singles there. The party is well attended by tango lovers.
Intermediate lesson starts at 7:30pm
Party Starts at 8:30pm
For the beginners lesson and party, (which includes dinner and a live band on the 4th Sunday of the month), the cost for one lesson and party is from $10 to $15, depending on whether there is a band. The band consists of a guitarist and bandoneon player.
Click here for video clip of bandoneon.
If you already know Argentine tango, you can elect to come to just the party at 8:30pm.
There is street parking available near the studio. The area is somewhat industrial and you wouldn't expect a dance studio there. But once you get inside the venue is really beautiful with a great sound system and hardwood floor.
Check it out. Your life will change once you learn Argentine Tango.
==>If you go, please tell Natasha that Phil sent you.
