This is an incredible charity event to support our troops overseas. The event will be hosted by Gina at Clicks Billiards in Phoenix. The fundraiser will be going on all day from 11am to 10pm so show up whenever you can and bring a friend. There will be music, bellydancers, all sorts of contests and games, etc.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will help support the Packages from Home charity which supplies troops overseas with just about anything that can be put in a box from food items to comic books, games etc.

The fundraiser is being held in honor of LCpl Richard Scott Bailey (Scotty) who was killed a few weeks ago shortly before he was to go to Iraq. His mother and family are very involved with Packages from Home, and his mom had planned to spend her time volunteering there while he was away.

It would mean alot to her and everyone involved if they had a huge turnout at Clicks.

All proceeds will be donated in memory of LCpl Bailey to benefit Packages From Home and the troops overseas that they support.

Thank you Lisa. I have some very wonderful friends in this group, and I will miss you all. Let's just celebrate our freedom and the lives of those 4 soldiers and we will deal with saying good bye next week!

Yes, it's me again....please go to www.packagesfromhome.org Sadly, four Arizona soldiers lost their lives recently....Packages From Home would like to raise enough money to send 1,000 care and comfort to the service men and women who served with these brave soldiers...G-d bless them all..... Adding to the mix....Gina is moving to Indiana.....We have good reason to party that we have our freedom, to help soldiers and to say good bye to Gina who we love very much.

    •  What a great fundraiser event for a good cause!! Thanks.
    •  AWESOME !
    •  It was a fabulous, worthwhile event. Everyone worked really hard to make this a success. Jerry, Lisa, Gina, Shane, Brian, Rusty and everyone else - Thank You! I had a blast. It was wonderful meeting Scotty's family and being able to give back in a small way to our fighting men and women.
    •  I want to thank each Meetup member who attended and helped. I can tell you that if you were there, you were most likely on the evening news with the live feed. My feet hurt, my body hurts, but my heart is full of pride after a 15 hour fundraising marathon.... Those beautiful Marines are our heroes. More importantly, Scotty's family is very appreciative for your support. What a great day. Pictures forthcoming. Many thanks, Lisa
