Hello All,
As many of you may have heard on Z88.3, Ken Davis, a comedian and motivational speaker, is going to be at First Baptist Orlando on Sunday. I was hoping we could get together at 5:45 so we could get good seats.

I will email those who RSVP yes with my phone number so we know where to meet.

Hope to see a good turnout!
Sandra :)

Below is the description found on the First Baptist website:

No Joke — He's Coming!

Even though Ken Davis’ job this time will be to make Orlando laugh, his vast ministry has included some very serious outreach to children and parents.

But on Sunday, August 9, Davis will be bringing the humor to First Orlando. His “Under the Influence” Comedy Concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. The concert is free, though a love offering will taken.

Davis will also be preaching at the 6 p.m. Saturday, August 8 service, and both Sunday services at 9 & 10:45 a.m.

Davis is one of the most sought-after speakers in North America. He spent 15 years working for Youth for Christ, and in the past 25 years has traveled the nation as one of the top motivational and inspirational speakers. Davis, who has given thousands of comedy concerts around the world, has appeared on television and stage across the globe and is the host of the popular daily radio show, “Lighten Up,” heard on over 800 stations across America. He provides a unique mixture of humor and inspiration that never fails to entertain and enrich audiences of all ages. In fact, he refers to his humor as “comedy with content.” Internationally acclaimed motivational speak Zig Ziglar said of Davis, “[He] not only brings lots of laughter for young and old, but underneath it all is a message of hope and encouragement.”
Davis is the author of nine books including, “How to Live with Your Parents Without Losing Your Mind,” “How to Live with Your Kids When You’ve Already Lost Your Mind” and “I Don’t Remember Dropping the Skunk.”

Born and raised in Minnesota, Davis is a graduate of Oak Hills Bible College. He and his wife, Diane, live in Tennessee and have two married daughters.
