About The Jewish Singles Meetup Group

Hi!

We're a great group of Jewish singles 45 and above, who are active, interesting, fun, friendly, positive thinking and genuine.

We are purely a social group. This is not an alternative to paid internet dating, although if you meet someone you want to date and then become a couple, we'll celebrate with you!

We have lots of ideas on the table right now for future events, which will soon be posted on our calendar?so check back often.

Also, make sure to read the Message Board. We encourage members to post ideas there for spontaneous get togethers. For example, if you want to meet for dinner, happy hour, a movie, etc., post it and see who responds. You never know!

Please note too, that although this is not a group to promote any agenda or sell products and services, we do support each others' chosen careers.

And. while we don't expect every calendar item to be for everyone, please RSVP whenever possible.

Right now we're thinking of: dinner/dancing at Raynham Park, hiking/tennis/golf, pot luck dinners at someone's home, stargazing at the Aquarium some clear evening, a day at the zoo in Rhode Island and a picnic lunch or dinner out, dinner in Providence, jazz/blues clubs, visits to ICA and other museums, theatre/concerts, brunches/dinners at unique venues, swing dancing and just 'dancing'!

We need YOU to share your ideas and interests, friends and companions?bring them along! New members are welcome once they post a profile with a photo and tell us about themselves. (We do reserve the right to accept new members or not in the interests of preserving the group's format, positive outlook, approach and future success.)

Suggestions for new activities are always welcome.

Join us most Sundays at Panera Bread on Rte 1 in Dedham at 11:00 am. That's where we hang out over coffee, (and whatever strikes our fancy from their fabulous bread/bagels/muffins/pastry display!), get to know each other and plan our events. We sit in the back of the restaurant, so there's plenty of room, and we're holding your seat! (If you're not sure if that's us, just ask for Ellen, Elie, Julie, or June ..if not all, then one of us is sure to be there!)

Why spend evenings or weekends alone when you don't have to?Many of us have met up at restaurants, bars/pubs, and at dances, and had a much better time because we knew we had friends waiting for us there.

Please be young at heart, active, POSITIVE thinking and open to discussion and getting to know new people for friendship and whatever else may happen.:)
