Mary wants to see some Fireworks on the Forth of July and wants everyone to come out and join her. She is planning to be on the North side of Tempe Town Lake. Mary has a large canopy that we can set that up on the marina side of Tempe Town Lake and picnic there in the shade until the sun goes down, then watch the fire works and be able to get out of the area easliy. Let's picnic, party and watch fireworks at 9 pm....Saturday the fourth!!! Bring some food to share, a beverage or two, your chairs and a canopy if you have one. We can carpool? We can meet at 4:00 on the West side of the Circle K on Baseline and Cooper. OK we are making up the details as we go. If you have some suggestion or ways to have more fun let us know.

    Hey Mary! I saw you guys putting up the tent while I passed by on the Light Rail. Would have joined you but I had to work at 19th Ave & Camelback. Hope everyone enjoyed the merriment.

    OK, have SPECIFIC directions on how to get to the NORTH side of Tempe Town Lake for the fireworks. Take either Mill Ave or Scottsdale Rd to Curry Ave. From Scottsdale Rd , go west and from Mill, east to Lakeview. This is very close to Mill Ave. Make the appropriate turn to go down to the lake. There is ample parking and we will have a large white canopy so you can find us.

    People making comments about being too crowded. We will be on the NORTH side of Tempe Town Lake - I will have driving directions soon. there aren't the crowds like on the south side, AND leaving is not the ordeal on the south side. Think about it,,,,lots of fund and FIREWORKS!!!
