Support/ Social Group for Young Widows This group is an informal support and social group for young widows.  We want to appeal to widows under 50, with and without children.  This group is not meant to provide therapy or substitute for therapy; however it is a place to feel welcome and understood.  You can share stories and find help dealing with ongoing challenges that widowhood and single parenting brings.

I decided to start this group because I'm sure there are other single women 50 something & over that would like to meet to walk, have coffee, meet for dinner, talk about common interests, maybe volunteer at an organization for a weekend or two....
